Lots of students have trouble with this, even if they're generally fine when standing still. But spare a thought for the Swedes in 1967. Here's a picture of the first morning after Sweden changed from driving on the left side to the right. Nigeria did the same, in 1972.
Now, Britain, Japan, Australia are the only ones people can name as left-road drivers. But there are in fact 74 (compared to 166 right-roaders).
Thank goodness Volkwagen have amended the design of the rear lamp cluster on their Polo.
Quite a hazard to be following one if it was braking, not knowing if the driver was also signaling to turn.
