Position / power
Stay in the "normal position" unless there's good reason no to (= an obstruction or hazard, or you're getting ready to turn right). Always drive in a way you can stop in the distance you can see is clear.
Good driving means "being in the right place at the right time", and moving at a suitable speed (including not at all). After all, you have control over ONLY YOUR position (by steering) and speed (what you make your engine do).
The furthest continuous distance you can see is your "limit point". This distance shortens when you approach a hazard, like a bend. So you should slow, so you can still stop if needed, before the limit point. (You don't know it's safe to keep going if you can't see beyond it !) As you enter the bend, the limit point will stop coming closer to you and then stay the same distance away. So now you can keep your speed the same. Leaving the bend, it will lastly pull away from you. So you can speed up. The quicker it moves away, the shallower the bend is becoming.
