After the test examiner gets you to read a number plate, they'll ask you a safety question about the car you've brought. A second question will be asked while you drive.
Your drive will also include one reversing exercise, navigating for yourself, and perhaps an emergency stop. You'll be assessed for "eco-safe driving", but not marked. |

TECHNIQUE : A good way to approach a test is to know what the examiner expects. Remember, they have only 40 minutes to decide if you seem safe to continue learning without supervision. So, make everything you do obvious but not exaggerated. Comment (so as to explain), if you do something unusual ... like why you've not signalled at a junction. It's what your car's body language says to others that matters, not what it looks like to you (or what YOU look like). These are more likely points of finesse.
