Theory

This video describes the Theory test.  It starts with multiple choice questions and ends in a Hazard Perception Test (HPT).

To revise both parts, use the three recommended books or a reliable app.  Start with The Highway Code, on which I've based some comments about types of road user.

Practice some questions, and the HPT (or buy more clips).
Book Theory test

TECHNIQUES :  Read the multiple choice questions very carefully.  You'll have plenty of time.  Two possible answers may sometimes sound very similar.  All questions will come from the three recommended texts.  You can leave questions you're unsure about until the end.  After a short break, watch the introduction to the HPT and note what it says: don't click quickly more than 4 times.  But do click twice, whenever you see "something in your path ahead that would make you change your speed or direction" (that's the definition of a developing hazard).  If an experienced driver, click even if the hazard seems too far ahead to need to.
